Install ezBTS on your DJI remote

Takes about 3 minutes. Works on the DJI RC Plus (the remote with the built-in screen).

Download ezBTS app (.apk)

Tip: open this page directly on the remote so the file is already there – or copy the .apk over via USB‑C.

  1. Get the .apk onto the remote

    Easiest way: open ezbts.upup.berlin/install in the remote's built-in browser and tap Download. No browser on your remote? Connect it to a computer with USB‑C and copy ezBTS.apk into the Download folder.

  2. Allow installing apps

    Open the file (via the Files / Downloads app). The first time, Android asks to allow installs from this source – turn the switch on, then go back and tap the file again.

  3. Install & open

    Tap Install, then Open. You'll find ezBTS in the app list afterwards.

  4. Grant the three permissions

    The app walks you through them: Screen capture, Accessibility (so it knows when DJI Pilot is in front) and Display over other apps (the small status pill). Just follow the buttons in the app.

  5. Enter your key – or start the trial

    Tap Activate and type the key from your purchase email, or activate the free 10‑day trial. The key binds to this one remote – after that you're ready. Open DJI Pilot and ezBTS records your BTS clips automatically.

Switched remotes or lost your key? Each key works on one device. Manage it yourself on the license self-service page — resend your key or move your license to a new remote. Still stuck? Email ezbts@upup.berlin.
